WORK EXPERIENCE

 

Project Manager:  August – Present

Bluegrass Networks | Ohio Market

 

Bluegrass Networks bought all asset from SAGE Systems Technologies to include offering all of their personnel a position with the company.  I was offered Project manager but had all the same responsibilities as a Construction Manager.

 

·         Training new crews to market on proper procedures for Crown Castle site and American tower site to include instructing them on proper policies that Crown Castle and American tower have for every site.

·         Running of two to Six crews at a time to include working and scheduling around their rotation schedules.

·         Training of new Construction Manager to ensure that he knows proper procedures on Sprint 2.5 project out of Columbus, Ohio.

·         Working directly with vendors to receive the proper materials for sites at the lowest cost possible, including tracking down missing materials and rectifying miss-shipments in order to get the sites completed on time.

·         Working directly with Black and Veatch, Sprint, and Ericsson (Customer) in order to be awarded work for the crews and negotiating pricing per site including implementation of a proper way to submit quotes.

·         Training crews in PIM testing, Sweep testing, Fiber testing, and proper way to set RETs  per CDs and RFDS

·         Working with personnel on pay issues to ensure that all needs are met.

·         Performing full closeout packages for Sprint, Ericsson, and Black and Veatch.

·         Insuring that all BOMs are correct before sending the crews out to site.

·         Insuring that the proper PO amounts are upheld and paid by customers

Reason for Leaving:  Company was not ran in an efficient manner as to which I was informed.  Too many people hired too fast without proper experience as to which they were hired.  Offered job by SAGE Systems Technologies giving me the opportunity to be home with my family daily.

Construction Manager:  February 2013 – August 2013

MYCOM North America/Xerex Inc. | Upstate NY

·         Running of two full tower crews and two Tiger Teams for the Upstate New York AT&T turf project.

·         Training crews in PIM testing, Sweep testing, Fiber testing, and setting of RETs

·         Supporting crews on their administration, HR issues and rotation schedules

·         Performing full closeout packages to include starting a company with my spouse that provides this service for other companies.

·         Providing technical and troubleshooting support for AT&T and my tiger teams

·         Reviewing of all RF sweep data and all Fiber data to ensure accuracy for our customers.

 

Reason for Leaving:  I was offered a position with a new branch of Nexius (Fusion) working closer to home.

·         Opening of market to include locating warehouse, finding vendors with best pricing, and ordering materials required for construction of T-Mobile sites for LTE upgrade.

·         Training of Techs, Civil Crews, and Tower Crews for proper installation of Nokia equipment to include testing of RF jumpers, Hybrid fiber lines, interpreting RFDS sheets, and proper understanding of construction drawings.

·         Training in conduit and electrical/Telco installation

·         Training in proper format for closeout information to be submitted to T-Mobile.

·         After all crews were proper trained in their specific areas I focused on requesting sites, scheduling of sites, and inspecting of sites.

·         Continually searched for and hired new personnel and companies for current project to include negotiation of pay and pricing for builds.
